Reporting to the Site Quality Director, provides day to day direction and coordinates tasks of Quality Engineering, ADT, Calibration, Auditing, and other aspects of Quality as directed using Policies and Procedures set forth by the Company, Site, or Quality Organization. Interprets and executes policies and procedures that typically affect the Quality organizational units. Stays actively involved in daily operations as required to meet schedules or to resolve issues related to completion of required tasks. Oversees each Quality discipline as assigned to ensure projects are completed on schedule and within budget. Coordinates suitable resources for required projects and ensures the most economical utilization of those resources. Erroneous decisions or recommendations or failure to complete assignments would normally result in serious delays to assigned projects resulting in considerable expenditure of additional time, human resources, and funds. Frequent contacts with internal personnel and outside customer representatives at various levels concerning operations or scheduling of specific phases of projects. Conducts briefings and participates in technical meetings for internal and external representatives concerning Quality operations. Analyze current operations and identify opportunities to improve Quality Management system, safety, quality, cost, schedule, and supplier performance. Responsible for performance evaluations, attendance and time-off approval of all assigned personnel.


The successful candidate will typically have: Bachelor’s Degree or equivalent. Minimum 10 years experience in Aerospace related field. Prior experience in Quality is preferred. Familiarization of SAP Systems as they relate to TGI a plus. Prior Management experience is desirable.
