Candidate will control operation of single or multiple production machines in accordance with established procedures and guidelines for the process of manufacturing products.
Candidate must be able to set up machines with supervision and perform a variety of machine operations utilizing CNC or manual machining centers to cut, shape, and drill or form metal work pieces to specifications by performing the following duties. Perform a variety of milling, drilling, boring, or related operations to close and interrelated tolerances. Reviews set up sheet and specifications to determine machining sequence and dimensions of finished work piece. Performs set up and diversified operations on CNC Mills and comprehend work instructions. Measures work piece for conformance to specifications both b/p and work order prior to submitting the part for a 1st part verification. Notifies supervisor of discrepancies and assist in RCCA (Root Cause Corrective Action) activities.
