Responsibilities

Warehouse Associate / Delivery Route Driver

 

 

The Warehouse Associate / Delivery Route Driver role will have two main areas of accountability.  The incumbent will primarily, perform duties to maintain order in the stockroom areas, fill orders as required, receive, move, store and stack a variety of materials, kit product for production activities and participate in inventory and cycle counting activities.

 

The additional part of the role will be to carry out a daily delivery route based on business needs.  This requires the ability and licensing to operate a mid-size commercial delivery truck.

 

PRINCIPAL ACCOUNTABILITIES WAREHOUSE – 75%

  • Under direct supervision, unload, check, move,  and store materials in proper locations ensuring accurate counts using standardized procedures for measuring and counting
  • Following established procedures, kit orders from storage areas and warehouse stock, count and/or weight to ensure accurate numbers, and compare numbers and quantity on orders with part numbers
  • Report shortages, errors or damaged parts
  • Maintain necessary paperwork
  • Participate in cycle counting, inventories and other related assignments
  • Use instruments to check and verify own work as required
  • Maintain clean and orderly work area observing 5S standards
  • Perform other related duties as required

 

SECONDARY ACCOUNTABILITIES DELIVERY ROUTE DRIVER – 25%

  • Assist in the loading and unloading of product
  • Adhere to the processes and directions of traffic protocols at customer and supplier locations
  • Maintain clean and orderly work vehicle
  • Perform daily vehicle inspections
  • Report vehicle conditions requiring maintenance or repair

Qualifications

EXPERIENCE
- Six (6) + years materials handling experience preferably in an aircraft environment.
- Operate measuring/weighing devices.
- Must possess ability to read work orders, do basic math computations and perform the varied duties of the department.
- Manually maneuver inventory and consistently able to lift up to fifty (50) lbs.
- One (1) year commercial delivery route experience or equivalent driving experience
EDUCATION
High School graduate or equivalent
Valid Driver’s license
