Reporting to the Quality Director
Based at Triumph, Staverton, Gloucestershire UK
Reporting to the Quality Director, with responsibility for EH&S Policies, co-ordination and compliance at the three Triumph Actuation & Control UK sites in Staverton, Deeside and the Isle of Man.
Owns, drives and ensures Triumph Actuation & Control complied with the UK legislation and corporate requirements for health, safety and environmental, including continued review, evaluation and implementation of improvement opportunities.
Maintain awareness and ensure implementation of site legal duties and changes in relevant legislation.
Comply and promote the Triumph values, Cardinal Rules and Code of Conduct.
Carry out site safety inspections, incident investigations, audits and reporting when required.
Support the creation and communication of Safe Systems of Work. Produce concise and accurate written communications including Job Safety Analysis, Risk Assessments and policy related documentation.
Collect, analyse and report on EH&S data in the organisation and reports to the corporate body in a timely manner.
Work with the wider Triumph team to ensure compliance with all company policies, procedures and company code of conduct.
Assist and support implementation of the Health & Safety Policy.
Act as nominated business competent person for EH&S, reporting to senior management.
Prepare, run and contribute to the EH&S committee meetings.
Monitor and Review the Occupational Health monitoring program in line with the CoSHH Risk Assessment requirements.
Deliver safety related training programmes to employees.
Ensure that Triumph A&C is compliance with REACH legislation.
Support the Quality Director on any other activities as required.
- NEBOSH General Certificate in Occupational Health & Safety or NEBOSH Diploma/NVQ Level 4. Five years’ experience of EH&S aspects. Co-ordination of EH&S in a multi-site operation, preferably Aerospace.
