Responsible for the strategic and tactical business development of assigned product line(s) to customers for company products and services. Works directly with customer’s purchasing, engineering, and management teams to identify customers’ needs and opportunities – then leads company’s solution development. Garners market competitive intelligence and responsible for developing Win strategies. Participates in establishing and responsible for achieving sales objectives, as well as, determining potential of product acceptance in new market segments or adjacent markets. In summary, this position is responsible for opportunity identification and qualification, capture, and new business contract closure leading to top line revenue growth consistent with TAS profitability objectives.
This position may have a specific technical or product focus such as composite structural and non-structural parts and assemblies (and related tooling). Product types can include thermosets and thermoplastic parts/assemblies or one of the other company aerospace product lines. In such case, requisite experience, technical skill and knowledge will be necessary to successfully fulfill the requirements of the job.
